Tessa New Room

Tessa rolled her eyes. “ Have you never paid attention to muggle history. This is Richard the king of England or also know as Richard the Lionheart” She was grinning. “ This room looks like a picture from my history book.”

She was still grinning. “ In this room, I feel like a princess.”

Damien had to laugh, "There was no muggle studies in this house, what I know about muggles I have learned being out in the world."

Damien always remember the teaching his parents had taught him. "Around here I will have to show you how wizards live."

Damien thought about something real quick before he yelled "Randi..Randi" with a pop a small elf appeared and bowed in front of them.

"Randi, this is Tessa and she will be living here and I want you to help her with whatever she needs."

Tessa smiled. “ I will teach you what I know about muggles then. Since I grew up with them, shouldn't be that hard.”

“ So you will teach me how to live like a wizard?” She would have to learn before she went to Hogwarts.

Tessa then hide behind Damien cause she had no idea what it was and it was only scaring her.

Damien was glad she could teach him about muggles because he knew he could only learn so much being out in the world. "Well I am glad, so maybe when I take muggle studies I will not fell as stupid."

Damien had to laugh a little when Tessa went to hide behind him again.

"First lesson in learning to be a wizard, this is a house elf. I assume you have heard of butlers and maids?" Damien smirked.

"House elves are those and much more. They can't hurt you unless you try to hurt someone from their family, or family friends."

Damien loved house elves they did everything and he never had to clean ever.

"With house elves you never have to clean a floor or make your bed ever again." Damien smiled.

Tessa smiled. “ Sure I will take Muggle Studies.” She laughed a little bit. “ I would never think that you was stupid Damien.

She hated it that Damien was laughing at her.

“ I heard of them from books, only the rich people gets them.”

Tessa still wasn't sure and was still hiding behind of Damien.

“ Really? You never heard of cleaning builds character.”

Damien smiled "Well I am glad someone doesn't think I am stupid"

Damien finally pulled Tessa out from behind him. "Really it is ok, the elf is not going to hurt you, and I understand that it is something different but you get used to them."

"I have actually clean as a punishment so I know how to clean, I just don't like it, plus the elves like to do it."

Damien will never forget the time his mother had him outside pulling weeds in her garden, when she discovered he had done something to Leshia's hair.

Tessa smiled. “ I would never think that you are stupid.”

She then started to pout at Damien. Tess hated to be told what to do. “ Why do I have to get used to it?”

She then started to laugh. “ I used to clean all the time. And it wasn't for a punishment. It was called chores.”

Tessa smiled a little bit. “ I bet you punishments wasn't that bad?”

Damien could tell she was a little upset with him over what he said. "The only reason I said you would have to get used to them is because they are every where in the wizarding world. They are the ones who cook and clean, and even do laundry at Hogwarts. Plus they do all of the household chores and cooking and everything around here. If you choose to do you own room that is fine I can tell Randi not to clean it."

Damien loved that they cleaned everything so it was one less thing he had to worry about.

"But you don't have a choice about the laundry, they do that." Damien stated matter of factually. It wasn't because no one could do laundry, they just didn't know where the machines where. They all belong in little elf land.

"Any form of punishment was bad." Damien had to laugh

Tessa smiled. " From the time that I could walk, I was doing chores. Washing, making beds. Something that comes natural to me." She then listened to what an house elf does. " Wouldn't it be easier if a witch or wizard would do this. I mean if a muggle can, I am sure the wizarding could.

She then heard him laugh. " Any form? What was the worse you had to pull weeds?"

Damien could understand that in the world she came from that was how they did things, but in this world things were very different.

"He would not matter if we had house elves or not, we have magic to clean things too. We learn how to clean using magic." Damien sigh and knew she would never understand.

"How about I tell Randi that the two of your rooms are off limits, so if you want to clean them you can?" Damien hoped that this would work for her.

When Damien said any form of punishment he probably should not have laughed, but that's how he handles what his father has done.

"Oh weeds, toilets, floors, cauldrons." Damien stated, then mumbles "Beatings"

Tessa knew that this world was different than the one that she grew up in. But she would have to get used to it, since she was a witch. And she was living with a wizarding family.

" I bet cleaning with magic goes faster than cleaning with hands?"

She smiled a little bit. " No if it is his job then I dont' mind if he cleans both of my rooms." Tessa wasn't used to having someone clean up after her.

" I had to scrub the floors and toilets with a toothbrush once." She then blinked when she heard the word beating. " Yeah I got those a lot."

Damien smiled at Tessa when she talking about cleaning with magic, "You have no idea, you can have a whole room cleaned in 15 mins if you know what you are doing." Damien sighed "But then until we are 17 we are not allowed to use magic out of school unless its a emergency."

Damien had to go over and pull Tessa into a hug and smile at her. "Randi will be so happy that you said that, but Randi is a girl. Damien smiled because it was hard to tell because she did not like to wear her bow in her hair and Damien didn't make her.

Damien listened to her name off the things that she was name off, but when she came to beatings he let go of her and turned away.

"You weren't suppose to hear that."

Tessa blinked “ Are you serious? It takes me a good while to clean several rooms.” But she then herded that they wasn't aloud to use magic till they was seventeen. “ Oh I see, but why can't you use magic I mean outside of school.” This was something that was going to be explained to her since she was learning to be a witch.

She then hugged him back. It felt so perfect when he hugged her, she wished that it would have last a little bit long. Tessa smiled a little bit. “ Well I am glad I made her happy then.” She was still smiling. “ As long as I am not in the room. I get scared easily.”

“ Sorry about that, I hear things I am not supposed to all the time. That is why I some times get beaten.”

Damien sighed when she asked about the magic, "It has something to do with the fact that they want us to be properly trained before we use it. We could actually do harm if we did a spell wrong"

Damien enjoyed having her in his arms, it was way different than hugging one of his sisters. "Well I will ask Randi to do it when your not in the room. They will talk to you and become your good friends if you let them." Damien smiled as he thought about Randi "I bet Randi would even love to help you with your hair."

Damien had turned away from her but then goes back over to her when she apologized and hugged and gave her a kiss on the cheek. He was not sure if she was ready for the other type of kiss yet, even though he was.

"So what shall we do next?"

Tessa smiled. " Oh that actually makes senses now." She was grinning, it had to do with because she was happy. She went from having nothing to everything all in one day.

She was sighed. " Sorry I just never seen a house elf. And they scare me cause they looked sort of what muggle would call aliens." She then blinked. " I don't need anybody to help me with my hair. I can brush it myself."

She then hugged him again. But she blushed as Damien had kissed her cheek. She wanted to more, but she didn't know if he was ready yet.

" I don't know."

Damien had to smile, he loved it when he made people happy. If he could get this reaction he would try to make her happy more often.

Damien had to laugh when she talked about looking like a Alien, "They all have different looks to them, so they don't all look the same."

Damien thought about the way they would always fix his mothers hair. "Well if your ever in a hurry, Randi will always be there, just wait once she starts to help you, you will enjoy it"

Damien thought about what they could do next. "Well we can either go and check out the room, or tour the manor?"

Tessa was finally happy and Damien was behind it. She hoped that he would continued doing it.

He then was laughing at her. " It isn't funny, you never seen ET. That movie scared me when I was little." She would have never laughed at him.

" I always plan ahead. I always wear my hair down. Because I am just plain."

She smiled. " It doesnt' matter, I am up for anything."

Damien got an evil grin on his face up for anything you say, Damien thought he would test that idea and pulled her close and gave her a sweet gentle kiss on the lips then pulled away.

"Well now that is out of the way lets go." Damien grabbed her hand and pulled her out of the room and head out the main doors.

"Tabi we are leaving." Damien yelled and practically took off with her running.
