Damien pulled Tessa along with him as they made their way to Flourish and Blott's bookshop. Damien loved this store, he could spend hours upon hours in the shop and spend a lot of his money in here. Damien was always finding new books to read and everything.

Pulling the door open for Tessa to walk in before him. He did have some manners once in awhile.

"So what do you think about the book shop, anything you want they either have or they can get."

Tessa had a small library at the orphanage. It was only a couple of books, but she loved to read them over and over. And it gave her something to do, it was something that she loved. Because she could be by herself.

She smiled as Damien held the door for her. Tessa then walked in and looked around.

" I think it looks big and there is a lot of books here." She then smiled when they had or could get a book. " Wow I don't think I ever been to a bookshop before."

Damien just loved making Tessa smile, he was glad she was starting to brighten up from the girl he had first met. He really wished she could just come to his house and forget going back to the orphanage. He knew his parents could be jerks but maybe he could come up with a story to convince his parents they had to get her out of there.

"Wait till you see the library at Hogwarts, I will probably never be able to get you out of that room." Damien had to laugh. He could tell by the look on her face that she loved reading.

Damien walked over to the bookshelf where he knew "Hogwarts a History' was and he picked it up the copy. Many years ago one of the trio Hermione Granger and developed a spell or charm whatever it was that made the book be able to update its self. This way you only had to buy one book, unless of course you misplaced it and had to get another copy. The cost of the book was higher, but everyone was willing to pay the price.

"Got it." Damien showed her the book "This is also where we will get your books, we can either do it now or later."

Damien just smiled because he just loved making her smile.

Tessa had smiled when she looked around, she knew that reading was a place where she could be someone differet. She really didn't want to go back. But she knew that she would at the end of the day. And then she would be questioned about what she did the whole day. And if she talked to anybody, she knew that she was never aloud to tell anybody that she was being mistreated. Because that would lead to more beatings.

" I don't think so either. It has to be much bigger than my small library." She was already thinking about the books, and she knew that she wanted to try and read them all.

She then wonder what books Damien was going to tell her that she needed to read. Tessa was excited, they would be different from the books that she was always reading. And those books she was reading over and over.

" Sure we can get them now, that way we don't have to make another trip."

Tessa loved it when she would smile. She didnt' get to do it much, but it would make her happy.

Damien had to laugh "It is probably as large as the orphanage itself" Damien could not think of something else he could compare it to, and he assumed the place she lived in was big.

Damien had thought about the books list, he was just here a week ago getting his things.

"Well let me think, we need a potions, Charms, Defense against the Dark arts, Transfiguration, History of Magic, Herbology." Damien had to think about things.

"Those are pretty much the core classes. But then you have electives you can take. Care of Magical Creatures, Flying, Astronomy, Divination." Damien smiled

Tessa laughed. " Yeah the orphanage it pretty big." She smiled. " But I am sure that Hogwarts will be much bigger." Tessa was getting excited just thinking about it.

One thing she hated was getting something off of a list. She didnt' like to be told what to do.

" I have to take all of those classes? I never even heard of them before." Nothing was making sense right now, and she knew that it would take time to get used to.

Damien opened the book he was holding to show Tessa a picture of the castle. "Here is what the castle looks like from the front and side. This just gives you an idea of what it is like."

Damien had to smile when she talked about not knowing what the classes were. "Of course you don't know what they are silly, you have never been in the magical world before. Thats what I am here for."

Damien knew this was going to be a lot to take in.

"I am not sure yet what is going to be required to take and when, but it never hurts to have all the books so you can study." Damien stated.

Tessa then blinked as she looked at what Hogwarts looked like. " It looks like a castle that was built in the middle ages. That something that I have read about in books."

She then started to blink. " Are you sure that they are muggle class but with the wizarding aspect of it." Tessa know was curious. " Does that mean you will answer all my questions if I have any."

She knew that this would just take time getting used to.

" Didn't they tell you?" She then blinked. " We are getting all of them? I don't think I can read any of it while I am at the orphange."

Damien had to agree with her. "I assume it may very well have been from way back then." Damien could not remember how long the castle had been there but he supposed it was in the book.

Damien had to think about it, "Yeah there is muggle studies too, there are many classes and I can never think of them all." Damien did forget about the class because he is not allowed to take the class, it is against his parents rules.

Damien smiled, "I got the same letter that you did, unless you didn't read it. It just came with a list of supplies."

Damien smiled at her. We can get everything we need and get a truck, and I will keep it for you at my house. I really think you should just come to my house and stay in the spare wing."

Tessa smiled. " Yeah it had to be built a long time ago. And to think that many students and teachers have pass throught the same halls for years.'

She smiled. " Wow I don't think that I am going to take every single on of those classes. That would be a lot of work. And I really dont' need to know about the muggles, since I grew up with them."

" I actually didn't get to read my letter, my headmistress told me about it. I didn't even get to see it before she burned it."

Tessa smiled when he said she should come and stay. " I wouldn't want to be a bother staying with you. I should be fine at the orphange."

Damien smiled as he thought about how long magic had actually been around. "Yes I can imagine the thousands and thousands of students that have been running through the halls and all the stories the ghosts can probably tell us."

Damien had been thinking about the classes he wanted to take and besides Potions "You should really take History of Magic, that will help you learn about things. I will even be taking it too."

Damien sighed a little when she said she would be ok at the orphanage until school started. Too bad she wasn't in France she could live at the orphanage his older sister worked at.

"Are you sure, I have plenty of room at my house. My sisters are all gone so their wings is open."

Tessa smiled. " Yeah I know think of all the history the castle has to tell us." She was still smiling at the thought.

" I think I might have to take History of Magic, just so I would learn and play catch up. I am sure that you grew up learning about the history. But not me." Tessa was glad that he said that he would take it with her.

She could tell that he was a little upset that she had she would be fine at the orphanage.

" I wouldn't want to be rude or anything."

"I imagine there are many places that are left to be discovered, I don't think the Weasley Twins have found them all." Damien thought of all the exploring that could be fun.

"Thats ok I would love to take the class with you, I am sure that there are things I don't know about the history. My family is pretty set in their ways."

Damien knew that his family was a Slytherin family thru and thru and the only person that had not been in Slytherin was his older sister Leshia. He remembered how mean his parents were to her. That is why she lives in France now working at and orphanage called Candy's kids.

"Trust me my parents would not even know you were there unless the house elves told them. It really would not be a big deal."

Tessa blinekd. " Who?" She had no idea who he was talking about. " I am sure everything have been found over the years." But she smiled. " But I would love to expore with you."

She smiled. " That is awesome, I wouldn't want to be alone in that class. But I am sure that you know your history anyways."

Tessa smiled a little bit. " Alright, as long as you are sure that this won't cause any problems with your parents. I really don't have much at the orphanage." She really didn't have much growing up. But she was used to that.

"The Weasley's were a pureblooded family who fought is the wars way back when against Voldermort. Anyway there was a set of twin boys and they were notorious for causing trouble." Damien smiled at the thought of some of the stories he had heard.

"I am glad I will have someone to keep me company while we check things out." Damien smiled.

Damien was a little excited about her coming to the manor.

"I am sure it will be fine, I will talk to my mother. If worse comes to worse I am sure you could stay with my sister. Anything to get you out of the orphanage." Damien smiled, he was thrilled to have a friend that was nothing like the people he had grown up with.

Tessa blinked. She still was confused by everything that he was saying. But she just nodded her head like she understood everything. " You realized that didn't want sense to me at all."

"Might be a little fun. sounds like an adventure."

She smiled. " That sounds like it will be fine then. I really do hate to be a bother."

Damien smiled and shook his head. "It is ok, there is a lot to take in, we have a few weeks before school starts and I will help you understand anything you want."

Damien put his arm around her shoulder. "Your with me now kid and I will show you how wonderful it is to be a witch."

Damien sighed at Tessa, "Trust me you will not be a bother, now lets get those books. We have another couple of shops to hit still."

Tessa smiled. " Ok I will remember that, unless you start to grow tired of my many questions."

She then started to laugh, he was about the same age she was and he was calling her kid. " Kid?" Tessa sighed just a little bit.

" There is more?" She was getting a little bit tired, even though they hadn't done anything."

Damien had to laugh "You have never met one of my older sisters yet, she always asked a lot of questions. She is so nosy on what is going on in my life." Damien pulled her close to him "No worries if you get annoying I will tell you."

Damien sighed, when he called her kid he was not meaning it as a insult it was just something he had heard once. "Isn't that some muggle saying or something? I thought I heard it somewhere during my travels around town."

"Oh my god Tessa, school shopping takes hours. Next year your won't have to get the wand, but every year there is books, and clothes, and then of course the stop as the candy store and maybe the joke shop." Damien laughed at the look on her face.

"Here I thought girls loved to shop?"

Tessa blinked. " I always been told by my headmisress that I am too annoying and that was why nobody wanted to adopted me. Because I had a question for everything. But then I would get teased by someone the other kids because I was a person who knew a lot of things. She then noticed that he pulled her close to him.

She then started to blink. " Yeah usually it is an insult. Basiclly someone who is way younger than you. I should be used to hearing the word kid from the older ones in the orphanage."

Her eyes grow wide. " Hours?" She then looked at him, and maybe he was joking with her. " That is a lot of stuff." Tessa was growing tired but this had to be done."

" I never been shopping before."

"Sometimes it can get annoying when someone asks a lot of questions, but it is true how are you suppose to learn anything if you don't ask." Damien knew that after awhile it might begin to bother him, but who knows he really likes Tessa and he could get used to it.

"As long as you don't play a know-it-all when you get all the information." He remembered stories he had heard from his parents about when Hermione Granger and the way she was all telling people her knowledge.

Damien was remembering the last time his sisters got together and made him come it was about 6 months ago and he was so bored and they asked his thoughts on everything. They were diffidently their mothers daughters.

"Wait until one of my sisters take you out shopping, it could be a all day thing. I hate it when they want to go shopping and I have to be dragged a long."

Damien felt a little sad for her, he thought everyone shopped but he guessed she never had a chance too.

"Well we are shopping now, what do you think?"

Tessa knew that he would get tired of her. Everybody did once they got to know Tessa. But she was used to it by know. That is why she loved to be by herself. Or maybe that was why she loved to read books. That wa so that she could be someone else for a while.

She then blinked a little bit when he said a name. " Who?" But when he said know it all it clicked. " I like to use my knowledge when it would come in handy. You never know when you need to know about something and you dont' know anything."

By the sounds of it, she wouldn't like to shop with them. She would get tired way too fast. " But I am sure that you had fun with your sisters?"

This was the first time that she got to own something that she could call her own.

" I am geting tired."

Damien laughed he hated knowing many things all the time and he knew that once school starts that he would not be letting people know everything he knew. "Too each there own I guess, I choose to keep my knowledge to myself, for the most part. But I will be glad to share what I know to you."

Damien could not help but shake his head, "Not in a million years, I love my sisters don't get me wrong, but they are twins and they drive me crazy. They finish each others sentences, and they talk in their minds. It is quite annoying really."

Damien looked over at her and she looked like she was getting pretty drained and then when she said she was tired he could completely understand.

"Thats ok, I understand completely, do you want me to take you back to the orphanage, or would you like to come to my place now?"

Tessa smiled. "I like to share my knowledge with everybody. And sometimes people tend to look at it that I think I know it all. Or I am just trying to show off." She sighed. " I am sure that people at Hogwarts is going to label me."

" You should really like spending time with your sister. I know I don't have anybody, and I don't think I have any brother or sisters. Twins normally do that."

She could tell that Damien could see that she was getting drained from all of the shopping. All she wanted to do was rest.

" I am sure that if I go back to the orphanage, I dont' think I will be aloud to come back."

Tabi had been pretty bored and thought maybe a trip to Diagon Alley would be the best thing for her right now. She was missing her sister and hadn't been able to reach her all morning. They loved the fact they could talk in their minds, they worked for years to be able to do it at long distances. It was a whole lot faster than owls. She figured Leshia must just be busy and that is why she hadn't answered her back yet. Sometimes that happens.

Walking into F & B Tabi was not sure what she was looking for but knew she would find something, maybe some more quills and parchment. She was looking around the store when she someone out of the corner of her eye it was her brother with some girl. It had been awhile since she had seen him so she thought it would be best if she went over and said hi.

Walking up to Damien she glanced over his shoulder. "Spending more of the trust fund as usual, little brother?" Tabi had to laugh, not that it matter their trusts funds were never ending it seemed.
