Both sides of the Books

Cassidy was sitting alone reading a book. Her mood was sad as she tries to adjust herself in the seat.

Tai stumbled trippimg over his own two feet. He let out a slight yelp as he tipped forward unable to catch himself before slamming the ground bringing a tower of books down on top of him. Succesfully pinning him to the floor of the stoor. "Damn..." he muttered under his breath wincing deeply as he attempted to pull himself out of the pile with no sucess

Cassidy sat there. Her mind drifting off the book and back to her recently deceased father. She gave up, her head throbbing in pain so she decides to laid on a couch.

Tai attempted to scramble out of the pile of books only to cause himself more pain. His green eyes glinting with frustration as he attempted to escape the pile only to bring another pile crashing down on him. This one louder then the last the sound echoing around the place.

Cassidy was startled by the sounds of the books. She got up and notices a young man trapped under a mountain of books.

"Take my hand," she said, coming out in a whisper.

Tai looked up at the redhaired girl. Hesitant to take her hand. but found himself reaching up grasping her hand. His hair falling into his eyes obscuering his green eyes from view.

She jumps when he grasp her hand. Cass caught a glimpse of his green eyes as she tries to pull him out. Her hair acts as a shield for her face, not wanting people to see her.

Tai sighed feeling like an idiot to be truthful and the girl helped him out from under the half ton of books that had been kind enough to attempt to crush him. He winced deeply as she pulled on his arm. His dark green eyes filling with pain. He took a shakey breath stopping himself from screaming out. Not wanting to bring anymore attention to them then her already had

Cassidy felt that she was causing him pain and stops. She then just started to take the weight of the books of him. 'I can't do anything right.' she thought. 'I make things worst..'

"Thank you" Tai mumbled as he felt some of the weight off of him vanish. Really wanting to tell her it wasn't her fault that he hurt. Memories flashed through his mind of skin being sliced and red hot pain. He shook his head trying to rid himself of the dark memories that came to mind when her tought about the scar on his right shoulder. His left hand was pinned under the books that had decided to topple down on top of him.

Cassidy only nods as she continues. Her blue eyes that once held life was now dead and dull and somewhat transparent. She basically had most of the books off him.

Tai pushed himself up off the ground biting back the groan of pain that was almost at his lips. He shakely stould up. Looking down at Cassidy silently. His eyes looking into hers he felt horrible all off a sudden like he hadn't done something right.

Cassidy avoid his gaze. She really didn't do well with others, especially those of the opposite sex. She silently bit on her lip.

"Thank you" Tai whispered smiling softly at her. His dark green eyes looking her over silently. "Are you alright?" he asked worriedly bending over to begin stacking up the books he had toppled over. His eyes hidden by his hair

Cassidy nods quickly. She stares down at the carpet floor. Her skin was paler than it should be.

Tai took her hand looking at her worried. He watched her silently. unsure what to do, feeling like he was doing more harm then good

Cassidy turned to leave. She tripped on her own feet and fell to the floor.

Tai shot forwards catching her before she hit the ground. Dropping the book he had been holding as he stopped her from hitting the ground. Moving so she landed on him. Causing him to mentally wince as he impacted on his right shoulder

Cassidy felt his pain again. She hoped he didn't notice how cold her skin was. She just curled up into a ball.

Tai frowned deeply looking at her. holding her close. sitting up with her still in his arms, notticing how chilled her skin was.

"Daddy?" she mumbles. She thought for a moment it was her father holding her. Like he use to do before he died. She lifts her head up at Tai.

Tai looked down at her saddly shaking his head. loosening his hold on her slightly so she could get up if she wanted not wanting to make her feel trapped by him.

She didn't bother to get up or even move. Just wanted to hide forever and feeling unloved. She buries her face between her knees.

Tai stroaked her red hair wishin he could do something to help. he hummed softly watching her. His dark green eyes reflecting the saddness his face didn't show.

Cassidy's body shakes every five minutes. She mumbles something. Getting up and walks slowly away feeling ill.
